The place was cool and I would definitely recommend it for comics. For books it felt like a disorganized mess - we could not figure out if they were ever actually organized. It made it difficult to look for genres or even authors. Some people might enjoy this but I found it confusing.
Also, used and new books were intermingled and there seemed to be a lot of full priced new books. I don't blame them for stocking their shelves, it just took away from the used book store experience I was expecting.
Super fun to look around. There is so much to see. Staff was friendly and helped me find what I was looking for.
This place is amazing! Strolled in the other day during lunch and definitely needed way more time to look around so, returned today with the kiddos. We found some fantastic gems! Totally worth the drive! Check them out, you won't be disappointed.
Friendly and passionate staff, wide variety of books including horror comics and hard-to-find editions you can't find anywhere else.
5/5 will return to discover more ;)
This whole store is a love note to the wild, beautiful, strange world of scifi and fantasy novels and comics and the strange, wild, beautiful people who love them.
Excellent selection of Lovecraft, incomparable selection of rare books and oddities. A must visit for all ages!!
There's a reason Neil Gaiman loves it here. A perfect blend of comics, classics, and contemporary novels.
Owners and employees were so helpful. They have a great range of items from rare signed books to new releases, figures, Manga, comics and a children's section. Would recommend
Books used and new.. comics, collectibles.. organized neatly and also stacks to go through looking for treasure.. glad I don't live in Minneapolis else I would be here all the time!
